About us
A UK resource for audiovisual production excellence
reportaix teaches the craft behind great television and live events: broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting, sound engineering and workflows that keep a production calm under pressure.
Our story
reportaix began with a simple observation: the people who run studios and live shows learn most of their craft on the job, and rarely have the time to understand why things are done a certain way. We set out to change that with short, focused courses taught by people who work in the gallery every week.
Today our learners include camera operators, vision engineers, lighting designers, sound assistants and producers from broadcasters, agencies and venues around the United Kingdom. Each course combines clear theory, real equipment and honest feedback.
What guides us
Three principles behind every course
Practical first
Every lesson ends with something you can build, set up or run on a real studio floor.
Clear standards
We teach the signal paths, safety habits and documentation that UK networks expect.
Crew minded
Production is a team sport, so we train designers, operators and engineers together.
